Many people must be wondering if yoga can improve their muscle fitness. Although it does not build up bulked up muscles as that of weight lifters, it certainly increases muscle strength.

Working with weights help in strengthening muscles. Muscles which can be developed during yoga are more likely to be elongated because as one is strengthening them, they simultaneously get lengthened.
